How long will my appointment take?
Balayage and full colour transformations typically take 3–5 hours, depending on your hair density and starting point. We'll always give you a realistic time estimate when you enquire, so you can plan your day without any last-minute panic.
Will it damage my hair?
We work integrity-first. If your hair can't safely take a service in one sitting, we'll tell you and build a staged plan instead. We'd always rather take you blonde slowly than risk your hair health to rush a result.
I've had bad experiences elsewhere. How is this different?
We start with a full consultation, agree a clear plan with you, and check in with you during the appointment. You're not a bystander in the process; you're part of it from start to finish. No surprises at the basin.
Do I need a patch test?
Yes. All new colour clients need a patch test at least 48 hours before their appointment. It takes just a few minutes, it's included, and it's how we keep you safe. We'll sort yours when you get in touch.
Is a home salon as professional as a high street salon?
MNR Hair is a fully equipped, 4-chair private studio with professional standards with the added benefit of a calm, personal, unhurried experience. Many clients tell us it's the first time they've genuinely relaxed at an appointment.
