Hair Cutting FAQs
How long does a cut and restyle take?
A precision trim usually takes around 45 minutes to an hour. A full restyle, where we change the shape, length or add a fringe, is typically 60 to 90 minutes including a consultation, wash and finish. We never rush a restyle because getting the structure right is what makes it grow out well.
What is the difference between a trim and a restyle?
A trim maintains your existing shape and removes dry ends. A restyle changes the shape itself: new layers, a shorter length, a fringe or a completely different silhouette. If you are unsure which you need, book a restyle slot and we will advise on the day.
How often should I have my hair cut?
For most styles, every six to ten weeks keeps the shape sharp and the ends healthy. Shorter, more structured cuts like bobs sit at the shorter end of that range, while longer layered styles can stretch further because they soften gradually as they grow.
Can I combine a cut with colour or a treatment?
Yes, many clients pair a cut with balayage, a colour service or a keratin treatment in the same visit. Let us know when booking so we can allow enough time, or mention it in your free online consultation and we will plan the appointment for you.
